This blend rotates with the season depending on what fresh crop coffees we have in at the moment. The goal with creating this blend is to have a bright and lively espresso blend that also works great for someone who loves African coffees but maybe wants a roast slightly darker than our African coffees roasted for filter/pour over.
We get lots of hibiscus and berry notes followed by a green tea reminiscent of gunpowder green tea, followed up by some lemon background acidity. The acidity is not too upfront and is pleasant but no where near overwhelming.
