Partnering with the Kings: Using Our Coffee Shop to Support Kingdom Work
I've always wanted to use my business as a way to further God's kingdom but I didn't know how. We have had some opportunities come and go over the years, but I have felt charged by God to make it a larger part of the business this year.
Recently, a good friend of mine, Jared King, whom I grew up with, has been sharing about how God has been working in and through his family. He also mentioned their current financial needs. God has pressed on my heart to use Third Wave as a platform for support and I want to ask our community to partner alongside their family in their mission.

What money is going to: Supporting The Kings in Missions! They have a long-term missional call to unite, connect, and activate the body of Christ to Finish The Great Commission both locally in the U.S. and unto the most unreached people groups in the world.

GENERAL INTRO/STORY
Meet Jared, Emily, Josie, and Eleanor King!
They have been in missions together since they got married in 2017 and they currently serve with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and The Send. They are preaching the gospel, discipling youth/young adults, and equipping/uniting churches all over the world to reach this Next Generation and Finish The Great Commission. The mission fields they are currently focused on are high schools, universities, vulnerable children, local community transformation and nations/unreached people groups. With 3.1 billion people who have yet to hear the gospel their hearts are burdened to see a missions movement from every nation to every nation until all have heard the good news. Will you help send them?
CURRENT PROJECT: The Send Boston
Jared is currently helping oversee The Send Boston where they are gathering pastors/believers from all over the New England region to see these mission fields reached. For example, they will look at a city like Boston and create real finish lines/targets such as rallying the church to adopt the 450 high schools in the area to see real gospel and discipleship movements happen in those high schools. Another simple example would be looking at the statistics for foster care in the region and rallying the church to get every vulnerable child into a home. As New England is the most unreached/unchurched region in America they are in need of your prayers for breakthrough! They will do a stadium gathering on September 16th, 2023 in Boston to help further catalyze people into these mission fields.

– They saw 98 people give their lives to Jesus during an outreach they co-led with YWAM in early 2021.
– When they were pastoring at Virginia Tech they saw around 50 people give their lives to Jesus through an outreach they organized with local ministries to the football tailgate party scene behind where they lived. They would hand out 100’s of hot dogs and water bottles while sharing the gospel and praying for people. Their favorite thing was seeing college students ignited to share their faith!
